Recently there was a Covid-19 pandemic issue that happened all over the world. Many of the organizations and businesses are forced to temporarily close down their premises or reduce the number of workers in the operation to reduce the COVID cases spread. This becomes a challenge for most of the organization.
ISO has reviewed the serious issue and has decided to extend the dateline for the ISO 22000:2018 migration. Initially, all the organizations that are certified to ISO 22000:2005 suppose to migrate to ISO 22000:2018 before June 2021. Now IAF has announced it will be extended to December 2021.
In conjunction with the pandemic, IAF also allows CB (Certification Body) to conduct remote audits/online audit. If your organization would like to know more about remote audit for ISO 22000:2018, kindly contact us.
