What is ISO 45001?
ISO 45001 is a standard of requirements for Occupational Health and Safety Management System to help an organisation to reduce work place risk and improve employee safety.
This standard adopts a risk-based approach that ensures it is effective and undergoes continual improvement. It also helps organisation manage their occupational health and safety risks and improve the performance through developing effective policies and objectives.
Furthermore, ISO 45001 was developed with consideration of other related standards, such as OHSAS 18001, the International Labour Organization’s ILO-OSH 2001 guidelines and various national standards.
